SCRIPTED is a content writing and copywriting studio. Our website address is scripted.studio. We are based in the United Kingdom.

What data we collect and why

Contact form. When you submit a project enquiry via our contact form, we collect your name, company name (optional), email address, selected services, budget range, and project description. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss potential work together. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure automatically records standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). These are retained for a maximum of 30 days and are used only for security monitoring and diagnosing technical issues.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not run advertising retargeting pixels or behavioural tracking on this website.
• We do not use cookies beyond those technically necessary to serve the site.
• We do not store payment card data — we do not process payments on this website.

Third-party services

Email delivery. Enquiries submitted via the contact form are delivered to us using Resend (resend.com), a transactional email service. Your submission data passes through Resend's servers for delivery purposes only and is subject to Resend's privacy policy.

Hosting. This website is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). Vercel processes server logs and edge-network data as part of site delivery. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Legal basis for processing (UK/EU GDPR)

We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, responding to an enquiry you have initiated. We process server logs on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining the security and performance of this website.

How long we keep your data

Contact form enquiries are retained in our email inbox for as long as necessary to complete the associated conversation or project. If no engagement follows, we delete enquiry data within 12 months of the last contact. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
